Travel through charming towns and the countryside as you visit small-batch producers, and a local farm stand (when seasonal produce is available), each offering a unique taste of Ontario’s vibrant food culture. Enjoy award-winning mustards, handcrafted caramels, a Spanish tapas lunch, and a visit to a craft distillery featuring sustainably made organic spirits. The day ends with a stop at a beloved apple market for a hard cider tasting and seasonal gourmet treats.

A hidden gem just outside Brockville, Tincap Berry Farm is known for its farm-fresh produce, including seasonal berries, crisp vegetables, and handcrafted preserves. This stop is a chance to connect with the land, meet passionate growers, and sample farm-fresh flavours. Note: This stop is only available when seasonal produce is at its peak.

Mrs. McGarrigle’s

A Merrickville favourite since 1988, Mrs. McGarrigle’s is celebrated for its award-winning mustards, artisanal condiments, and gourmet pantry staples. Guests can browse the shop’s collection of handcrafted products, many made on-site, and discover flavours that reflect the creativity and pride of place at the heart of South Eastern Ontario.

Pickle & Myrrh

This small-town shop is bursting with handcrafted small-batch caramels, offering an indulgent, nostalgic twist on sweet treats. Sample their melt-in-your-mouth creations and take home a little taste of their magic.

Little Barcelona

At Little Barcelona, guests enjoy a selection of pintxos, the traditional small bites of northern Spain. These pintxos were named Ottawa and the region’s best appetizer of 2025 by a leading food critic in the Ottawa Citizen, a recognition that reflects both craft and character. 

King’s Lock Craft Distillery

This is where craftmanship and community come together on the banks of the St. Lawrence. This certified organic distillery is one of only a few of it’s kind in Canada, producing small-batch spirits made from grains grown on their own nearby farm. From the first pour to the last sip, you will experience the care and pride that define this family-run distillery and the people who call this region home.

Hall’s Apple Market

A fourth-generation family-run farm, Hall’s Apple Market is more than just an orchard, it’s a celebration of all things apple. Sample their signature 1947 Hard Cider, a crisp, refreshing tribute to their orchard’s heritage, alongside fresh-picked apples, homemade baked goods, and their famous apple cider donuts!
