Each tour includes a 1 hour at each stop. Whenever possible, you will get an exclusive opportunity to meet the talented brewmasters, hear their inspiring stories, ask questions, and gain insights into their craft. Learn about the creative process behind the beers and the inspiration for new brews. Relax in a cozy taproom or outdoor beer garden. Enjoy a flight (4 selections of your choice) or a full pint of your favourite brew while mingling with fellow beer lovers and soaking in the vibrant atmosphere.

Please note that lunch is not included in this tour. However, some of the destinations on our list offer excellent food options where you can enjoy a meal.

If you prefer a more structured dining experience, we offer the option to extend the tour by 1.5 hours to include a lunch reservation at one of the top restaurants in the area. A 1000 Ways will coordinate all reservations, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience.

Ashton Brew Pub

Ashton Brew Pub, situated in Ashton, Ontario, is celebrated as the most authentic English pub in Canada. Part of the Ashton Brewing Company, the pub was founded by the Hodgins family, who have been celebrated for their neighborhood pubs throughout the Ottawa Valley since 1975. Ashton Brew Pub offers a diverse selection of beers, including their renowned Cream Ale, a golden biscuit-colored ale that is clean and crisp with subtle hop and malt notes. Another notable option is their Brown Ale, celebrated for its full-bodied flavor profile featuring hints of caramel, coffee, and chocolate.

Bridge Masters
Brewing Company

Bridge Masters Brewing Company, located in Perth, Ontario, seamlessly integrates history with craft brewing. Positioned next to Canada’s oldest metal swing bridge, the brewery celebrates its heritage through its distinctive branding and traditional beer recipes. Housed in a former Wampole pharmaceutical factory, the brewery’s interior features exposed beams and brick, creating a charming old-meets-new ambiance that enhances the experience of savoring a cold pint. Gather Brewery & Glassworks

Gather Brewery and Glassworks is a distinctive and innovative venue. The brewery is located in Merrickville, which is often referred to as the “Jewel of the Rideau”.

K & P Brewery

K & P Brewery offers a unique, immersive experience where visitors can enjoy expertly crafted beers in a serene, forested setting. The brewery exudes a cozy, cabin-like atmosphere. King’s Lock Craft Distillery

King’s Lock Craft Distillery is celebrated for its artisanal, small-batch spirits. Founded by Rob Heuvel and Laura Bradley, this distillery prioritizes sustainable practices and the use of local resources. It holds the distinction of being Ontario’s first certified organic and kosher distillery, offering high-quality vodka, gin, rye, rum, and moonshine crafted from locally grown, organic grains. King’s Lock’s dedication to sustainability is evident through its implementation of green energy solutions, water recycling processes, and organic farming techniques. This commitment ensures minimal environmental impact while producing exceptional spirits.

Kingston Brewing Co.

Established in 1986, Kingston Brewing Company holds the distinction of being Ontario’s oldest brewpub and Canada’s oldest wine-producing pub. Nestled in a historic 19th-century building that formerly operated as a telegraph office, the brewery masterfully combines historic charm with a vibrant craft brewing culture. The pub’s unique atmosphere is further enriched by an extensive collection of beer memorabilia.

Lost Villages Brewery

The owners named the brewery after the villages that were flooded along the St. Lawrence River in the 1950’s to create the Saunders Power Dam. Before the flooding many homes were moved to a community of Long Sault in which the brewery is located. The brewery pays homage to the Lost Villages by displaying images and artifacts from that time period. The Lost Villages Brewery provides high-quality craft beer, a welcoming and exciting atmosphere and is a treat to visit.

MacKinnon Brothers Brewing Company

On their ancestors’ farm, the MacKinnon Brothers are the eighth generation to inherit the family business. They’ve renovated century-old barns to house their production facility, and planted hops and malting barley in the surrounding fields. In 2012, 2 brothers, a cousin, and a friend, opened one of the first craft breweries in the Kingston area. MacKinnon Brothers was the first Canadian Brewery in modern times to grow 100% of one beer (Harvest Ale) on one farm! Their Taproom is located in the basement of a historic barn, it’s a cozy space that highlights a farm-field patio in the summer, and casual indoor seating year-round.

Perth Brewery

Located in a renovated warehouse on Highway 7 since 1997 to meet increasing demand, Perth Brewery is devoted to crafting high-quality, all-natural beers with locally sourced ingredients. Their extensive range includes crisp lagers, refreshing pilsners, rich stouts, and hoppy IPAs, offering a variety to suit every taste. Standout brews such as Last Duel Lager, Easy Amber, and Calypso IPA are among their notable selections. Perth Brewery’s unwavering dedication to innovation and excellence has solidified its status as a cherished establishment within the Perth community. River House Vineyard & Winery

Along the banks of a gentle river, amidst rolling vineyards and serene landscapes, River House Vineyard and Winery invites you to experience the artistry of wine-making in its purest form. Scheuermanns Vineyard & Winery

Here you are invited to embark on a journey of wine discovery and relaxation, lose yourself in the rustic romance and enjoy a super hip atmosphere. Step into the vineyard, where rows of meticulously tended vines stretch towards the horizon, basking in the warm sunlight and rich soils that define our terrior. Skeleton Park

This brewery is dedicated to reviving and celebrating the rich beer-making traditions of the Kingston area. They specialize in recreating classic beer recipes that date back to the town’s early days. Their brewmasters have meticulously researched and revived these old recipes, using traditional brewing techniques and locally sourced ingredients. The beer menu features a variety of styles to explore offering patrons a taste of history in every glass.

Spearhead

Spearhead Brewing Worldwide Enterprises, their mantra says it all – ‘Beer Without Boundaries’. By pushing the boundaries of beer making to create delicious and unique beers, they continue to surprise and impress with every brew. Each release is carefully thought out by the brew team, using time-honoured traditional methods with a series of non-traditional ingredients, resulting in their signature Spearhead style. Each beer tasting here is a journey, crafted to tantalize your tastebuds.

Windmill Brewery

The name is taken from their location at Windmill Point in Johnstown. This is a historically significant site where British redcoat and Canadian loyalists waged a battle to protect Upper Canada in November 1868. The bloody event is referred to as the Battle of the Windmill. The brewery opened in 2016 with just one beer, their 1868 Pilsner, which is still their flagship today. They now offer guests a rotation of 8 different beers. They have a spacious outdoor pavilion that doubles as an event space, and they have live music all summer long!
