Land Acknowledgement
We acknowledge that the land on which we gather and operate is the traditional territory of many nations. This includes the Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee, and Huron-Wendat peoples. Today, this land is still home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples, and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work, live, and meet on these territories.
We recognize the enduring presence and deep traditional knowledge, laws, and philosophies of the Indigenous peoples with whom we share this land. We acknowledge their continuing contributions to the culture and history of this region.
As we conduct our business, we commit to honoring the importance of these lands and to fostering respectful relationships with the Indigenous communities who have stewarded them for generations. We strive to contribute to a future of equity, understanding, and respect for all peoples who call Southeastern Ontario home.
