What is the Train Connection
The Train connection is a privately hosted transfer between the Brockville VIA Rail station and your accommodation with one of our partner properties. This service is available to guests who have a confirmed tour with A 1000 Ways.
It is not a taxi. It is an arrival experience.
You step off the train and a local host greets you, assists with your luggage, and brings you to your stay while sharing the character of the region you are about to explore.
Who this service is for
This service is available to guests who
• Arrive and depart through the Brockville & Gananoque VIA Rail station
• Have a confirmed winter tour booked with A 1000 Ways
• Are staying with one of our accommodation partners in Brockville, Maitland, or Gananoque
• Are travelling in a private group of up to four guests

How to request the Train Connection
The Train Connection is not booked through a calendar.

When you get in touch, please include
• Train arrival and departure times
• Number of guests
• Name of your partner accommodation
• The tour you have booked or plan to book
We will confirm availability and add the service to your reservation.
Arrival or departure transfer
• Brockville or Maitland partner accommodations
$50 per one way transfer
• Gananoque partner accommodations
$75 per one way transfer
Return transfers are charged at the same rate.
If your journey requires additional distance, a custom quote will be provided.
Season and operating hours
The Train Connection is available from early November through the end of March.
Pick ups and drop offs are available between 9.00 am and 7.00 pm.
Transfers outside these hours may be possible with advance notice.
